The past three years, you could find senior Taylor Fonte on the softball diamond making outs and hitting home runs. This year she was on the sidelines with the Lady Titan basketball team as a manager, a new experience for her.


Southerner: What are your favorite hobbies?

Fonte: “I like to hang out with my friends, play softball and spend time with my brother and sister.”

Southerner: What kind of music do you like to listen to?

Fonte: “I like country and rap. I like all music, really.”

Southerner: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Fonte: “Chocolate for sure.”

Southerner: What do you want to be when you grow up?

Fonte: “I want to be a nurse anesthetist.”

Southerner: When you are stressed, what do you do to relax?

Fonte: “I go for a drive and listen to music.”

Southerner: What is something that you are thankful for?

Fonte: “My friends, family and my job.”

Southerner: What would be your dream field trip?

Fonte: “To go to the Bahamas.”

Southerner: Would you rather read a book or watch a movie? Why?

Fonte: “Watch a movie because I like to see the characters that go with the parts.”

Southerner: What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?

Fonte: “Zack Bryan tickets.”

Southerner: What’s one song that you’ll always remember the words to?

Fonte: “I don’t know, ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.’”
