Dossier: Senior Brooklyn Casburn
If you have been to any of the past several Gibson Southern theater productions, you no doubt saw senior Brooklyn Casburn. From singing in a variety of numbers in Vaudeville to portraying in Ariel in “Disney’s The Little Mermaid,” she has a strong stage presence. Along with acting, Casburn is also the vice-president of Student Council.

Southerner: What do you like to do in your free time?
Casburn: “I really enjoy singing; I’m super involved in theater and a lot of other activities at Gibson Southern. That takes up a lot of my free time right now.”
Southerner: What is something you like to do outside of school?
Casburn: “Outside of school, I’m really involved in my church. I serve on Wednesdays at our youth group, and I’m really involved in our worship team.”
Southerner: What are three awesome things about yourself?
Casburn: “Three awesome things about me? I’m a Christian. I’m super involved in my faith. I love to sing. And, I can heely really well; I had to learn it for ‘Little Mermaid’ last year.”
Southerner: If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
Casburn: “I would play the drums. I actually used to play them in middle school.”
Southerner: What kind of music do you like to listen to?
Casburn: “I love worship music and Broadway.”
