Eli Dant is a freshman at Gibson Southern High School. While he goes by Eli, his real name is Terrance. Eli played basketball for the freshman team and is currently playing lacrosse.

Southerner: If you had three wishes, what would you wish for and why?

Dant: “[I would wish for] A mansion full of puppies because I like puppies and then probably my own restaurant because I like to eat, probably like a breakfast restaurant like pancakes. Then a lot of money because I want to be rich and buy whatever I want.”

Southerner: What’s the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?

Dant: “When I was in preschool, I got pantsed in the middle of tag.”

Southerner: What is your favorite song and why?

Dant: “‘Work’ by Rihanna because I like dancing.”

Southerner: What do you like to do in your free time?”

Dant: “I recently started playing lacrosse, so I like going outside and doing lacrosse stuff at my house.”

Southerner: If you could be an animal for a day what would you be and why?

Dant: “I would be an chameleon because I could listen in on people’s conversations and pretty much be invisible.”

Southerner: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Dant: “Chocolate because all the other ones are just disgusting.”

Southerner: Dogs or cats? Why? 

Dant: “Dogs because I’m allergic to cats.”

Southerner: What is your dream vacation and why? 

Dant: “Florida because it’s nice and sunny.”

Southerner: Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible as a superpower? Why?

Dant: “Fly. I can get everywhere quickly, and I can fly around people.”

Southerner: What is one food that you will always refuse to eat and why?

Dant: “Broccoli because I throw up everytime I get it. Like, I throw up a lot.”

Southerner: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy?

Dant: “A house for all of my friends.”

Southerner: Do you eat or drink soup?

Dant: “Eat.”
