Austin Burns is a sophomore at Gibson Southern High School. He has a great personality and is known to be very optimistic. He’s a hard working athlete and a great presence in the hallway and in the classroom.

Southerner: What do you like to do in your free time?
Burns: “I love to fish in my free time, at the pond at my house.”
Southerner: What’s your favorite movie of all time?
Burns: “My favorite movie of all time is probably ‘Field of Dreams.’”
Southerner: What restaurant do you enjoy the most?
Burns: “I like Fazoli’s because they have a lot of pasta options.”
Southerner: What sports do you play, and what are you expecting to do in your sophomore seasons?
Burns: “I play football and manage basketball. My expectations are to score at least two touchdowns this year.”
Southerner: Where is your dream vacation?
Burns: “I want to go to Rio de Janeiro. I want to go there because of the ‘Fast and Furious’ movies, and it’d be cool to see the different cultures.”
Southerner: What kind of music do you listen to?
Burns: “I listen to mostly rap, a mix of Drake, Metro Boomin, Travis Scott and Kanye.”
Southerner: What’s your dream vehicle?
Burns: “My dream vehicle is a 1989 square body Ford F-150 with a blue body paint, blue white hints and a crew cab with a 6-inch lift kit.”
