Sawyer McKimmy is a junior who enjoys watching movies and acting in theater. He was most recently seen in the Gibson Southern Theatre Department’s spring production of “Big Fish,” and he will be in Vaudeville 2023, HeeHaw. McKimmy can be found playing the euphonium in the high school pep band at home football and basketball games.

McKimmy: “‘Fallout New Vegas,’ it is a good game.”

McKimmy: “Gaming, band and acting in theater.”

McKimmy: “Theater, I love acting. Other than that, it would be math because I am good at it.”

McKimmy: “I would like to act in movies, shows or in theater.”

McKimmy: “Sushi from Yamato’s, it tastes good and it is also cheap.”

McKimmy: “Water. I do not like sweet tea.”
The Southerner: “Who is your biggest inspiration in life?”
McKimmy: “Chris Farley, I loved him in ‘Tommy Boy.’”
The Southerner: “What is your favorite type of candy?”
McKimmy: “Chocolate candy, like Butterfingers and M&Ms.”
The Southerner: “Who is your favorite actor?”
McKimmy: “Chris Farley, I draw inspiration from his acting style.”
The Southerner: “What is your all time favorite movie?”
McKimmy: “‘Taxi Driver’ or ‘Night Crawler.’ I like to watch films where the protagonist is the villain.”
