Luke Snyder is a senior at Gibson Southern High School. He plays soccer and lacrosse and is involved in the history academic team, student council, volunteering with his church and the Honor Flight. He finds watching sports entertaining, and he follows the business world and stock market because that is what he wants to study in college.

Southerner: Have you ever volunteered for your community?
Snyder: “Yes, I have volunteered for the Honor Flight of Southern Indiana, and I also worked at a homeless shelter a few times.”
Southerner: What is something that you wish this school would teach?
Snyder: “I wish this school had some sort of debate class more so for people who are interested in the law profession because we don’t really have that here.”
Southerner: Would you rather go to the beach or go camping?
Snyder: “I would rather go camping.”
Southerner: If you could go into the past, where and when would you go?
Snyder: “If I could go into the past, I would go to Ancient Greece just because there were a lot of great philosophical thinkers that I would like to personally learn from.”
Southerner: If you won a million dollars, what would be the first thing that you would buy?
Snyder: “I would invest in the stock market.”
Southerner: If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
Snyder: “If I could tame a lion then I would have a lion.”
Southerner: What is your favorite holiday?
Snyder: “My favorite holiday is Fourth of July because I like fireworks and my family lights fireworks every year, so that is like a tradition that I like to participate in. In general I love the USA. I love the country that I grew up in, and I have a lot of pride in that.”
Southerner: Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Snyder: “I am definitely an extrovert.”
Southerner: What is your favorite cereal?
Snyder: “Cinnamon Toast Crunch.”
Southerner: If you could get rid of one food forever, what would it be?
Snyder: “Spaghetti.”
