Tori Dike is a senior at Gibson Southern High School. She is a part of the Gibson Southern Theatre Department and even helps in the mic room during the productions. Tori is also in Sunshine Society and the International Thespian Society Troupe #5623. She was in Vaudeville 2021, 2022 and 2023, “Big Fish” as both a character and part of the mic crew.

Southerner: What are your favorite hobbies?
Dike: “I like theatre and hanging out with friends and sharing the stage with them. I like performing on stage.”
Southerner: What is your favorite movie?
Dike: “Oh geez. ‘Mama Mia’ or ‘Bridge to Terabithia.’ They are like my comfort movies.”
Southerner: What kind of music do you like to listen to?
Dike: “Anything Taylor Swift. I love her album ‘Red.’ It was like the first album I really remember listening to of hers.”
Southerner: Who is a person you can always count on?
Dike: “My best friend, Kaeden. We’ve been friends since kindergarten.”
Southerner: What do you like the most about your family?
Dike: “We are all really close. We will all go out to my grandparents’ house and hang out and talk.”
Southerner: What do you like the most and least about school?
Dike: “What I like most is I like seeing my friends every day and my least is schoolwork.”
Southerner: What is one celebrity you would love to meet?
Dike: “Taylor Swift. I would cry if I met her.”
Southerner: What is your dream vacation?
Dike: “Greece or Italy. They are really pretty. I would love to explore everything there.”
Southerner: Who do you look up to the most?
Dike: “My mom because after everything she’s been through, she’s still so strong.”
Southerner: Do you or have you played any sports? If so, where and when did you play them?
Dike: “I’ve never played a sport. At all.”

Dike: “Anything Taylor Swift. Like any Taylor Swift song.”
