Katie McCammon is a junior at Gibson Southern High School. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Some of her favorite things to do are playing games with her family or riding four wheelers.

Southerner: Would you rather go to the city or the beach?
McCammon: “I would rather go to the beach because it is super pretty and less crowded with people. It is also my papaw’s favorite place.”
Southerner: Would you rather eat cake or ice cream?
McCammon: “I would rather eat ice cream because it is sweet and cold.”
Southerner: What is one word that you can never spell correctly?
McCammon: “All of them.”
Southerner: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
McCammon: “It takes me about 30 minutes to get ready in the morning.”
Southerner: What is your favorite dinosaur?
McCammon: “My favorite dinosaur is a stegosaurus. I like how they have spikes on their tails.”
Southerner: What is your favorite Christmas decoration?
McCammon: “I think lights are the best Christmas decorations. They make everything brighter.”
Southerner: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
McCammon: “I would go to Tybee Island, Georgia, because it is one place my papaw was always happy and excited about.”
Southerner: If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
McCammon: “I would have an Alaskan husky. I have always wanted to have one and their eyes are really pretty.”
Southerner: What was your favorite show as a kid?
McCammon: “My favorite show was ‘Super Why.’ It was fun to watch, and honestly, Wyatt was cool.”
Southerner: If you could only choose to buy one more thing in your life, what would it be?
McCammon: “I would want more time with the people I love. I have come to learn that once you lose time with someone, it is the one person you will always miss the most.”
