Kayla Pruiett is a 17-year-old senior at Gibson Southern High School. She attended school at North Posey and then Reitz Memorial before coming to Gibson Southern. Pruiett played volleyball at Reitz Memorial for a little over a year. She has worked with the Gibson Southern Theatre Department since sophomore year. Starting this year Pruiett joined the Textiles Club, which she enjoys being a part of.

Southerner: Do you have a job? If so, what do you do for work?
Pruiett: “I don’t have a job, but I do plan on getting one.”
Southerner: If you were to go to college, where would you go?
Pruiett: “I would really like to go to Purdue or Northwestern University.”
Southerner: What kind of car do you drive?
Pruiett: “I currently don’t have one.”
Southerner: What are your favorite hobbies?
Pruiett: “I enjoy painting, reading, definitely reading. I also enjoy binge watching TV.”
Southerner: What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Pruiett: “My favorite flavor of ice cream is cookies and cream.”
Southerner: What would be your dream field trip?
Pruiett: “My dream field trip would be either Disneyland or Universal.”
Southerner: What is your favorite memory from elementary school or high school?
Pruiett: “I don’t really have a favorite memory.”
Southerner: What’s one thing on your bucket list?
Pruiett: “I want to go see an Eminem concert because I love Eminem.”
Southerner: What is your favorite thing to do after school?
Pruiett: “I enjoy sleeping after school.”
Southerner: How do you get motivated on a Monday?
Pruiett: “I don’t really get motivated; I just force myself to get out of bed.”
Southerner: Do you like traveling? Where have you been?
Pruiett: “I love traveling! I’ve been to Missouri, Chicago, Kentucky, Ohio and many other places.”
