Hanna White is a senior at Gibson Southern High School. She is in musical theatre and theatre. She has been part of “Vaudeville Tonight,” “Big Fish,” “Vaudeville Hee-Haw,” “Mama Mia,” “Vaudeville: Hallmark in Our Hometown” and will be in the Upcoming “Vaudeville Scooby-Doo.” She also works at the Donut Bank in Princeton.

Southerner: In your free time, what do you like to do?
White: “I like to work, hang out with my friends or go shopping.”
Southerner: What is your favorite animal?
White: “A cheetah because of the print.”
Southerner: What is your biggest dream or goal in life?
White: “I want to be a mom. I want to be a better example to my kids than what I was given.”
Southerner: Who is someone in your family that you look up to?
White: “My sister because she basically raised me.”
Southerner: What are your plans after high school?
White: “I want to go to college to be a younger education teacher, like a kindergarten teacher.”
Southerner: What is a piece of advice that you would give an incoming freshman?
White: “Never change who you are to fit in. You will find your people. Get involved, and try to talk to new people.”
Southerner: Why did you come back to Gibson Southern after being homeschooled?
White: “I couldn’t go all day without being around people. I also missed my friends and theatre. I tried it, but it wasn’t for me.”
Southerner: What do you like most about school?
White: “I like being with my friends and making new ones.”
Southerner: What is your favorite production that you have been a part of?
White: “My favorite was ‘Mama Mia.’ It was so much fun to be with everyone every night. I also love the movie so being a part of it was a lot of fun.”
Southerner: Would you rather do schoolwork as a group or by yourself?
White: “A group because being by yourself is boring.”
Southerner: If you had three wishes, what would you wish for and why?
White: “One would be to have better focus because it is a struggle on my drive and grades sometimes. Another is to grow up to help people because it has always been a passion of mine. My third wish would be to grow up to be a good mom and wife.”
Southerner: Do you have any strange phobias?
White: “I don’t know if it is really strange but big holes.”
