Reese Bittner is a freshman at Gibson Southern High School. She is on the cheerleading and dance teams. Bittner is also in all honors classes, so she stays pretty busy. She previously attended Sts. Peter and Paul and then Haubstadt Community School. Bittner is part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Students for Life, Student Council and is a Sunshine Society Officer.

Southerner: What is your favorite color?
Bittner: “Pink, and I don’t know why it’s my favorite.”
Southerner: What is your favorite thing to do over the weekend?
Bittner: “Probably just hang out with my friends, just because it’s fun.”
Southerner: What is your favorite movie?
Bittner: “‘It Ends With Us,’ I love that movie. I feel like it’s something about their relationship, which is very interesting.”
Southerner: What is your favorite kind of music to listen to?
Bittner: “I like to listen to SZA, Kinderkick Lamar and Drake; the music is just chill.”
Southerner: What’s your favorite food?
Bittner: “Alfredo, I love Alfredo. Just regular Alfredo, it’s so good. My mom makes the best Alfredo.”
Southerner: Do you like traveling? Where have you visited?

Bittner: “Yeah, I like going to Florida, and I’ve been to Washington D.C. That was fun. You can just get away from home, and it’s fun.”
Southerner: What is your favorite song?
Bittner: “My favorite song is probably ‘Grace in the Gardens’ by Elevation Worship and Brandon Link. It’s a worship song, and it’s really pretty.”
Southerner: What is your favorite animal?
Bittner: “A sloth because I can relate to it the most.”
Southerner: What do you like about school so far?
Bittner: “That it’s a lot different than middle school, that’s for sure. I’m taking all honors classes, which makes it a little bit harder, but I feel like it’s fine because I haven’t had a ton of homework or anything.”
Southerner: What don’t you like about school so far?
Bittner: “Going everyday, I feel like it’s repetitive, doing the same thing every day.”
