Peyton Rowe is a Sophomore at Gibson Southern High School. She is a member of the Sunshine Society, choir and lacrosse. She is also a part of the International Thespian Society Troupe #5623. Rowe works at Sandy’s Pizza and plans to go to cosmetology school. She has been in Vaudeville for two years, as well as in “Footloose.”

Southerner: What is a childhood memory that makes you happy?
Rowe: “I loved going to Disney World. I got to see all of my siblings I don’t normally see.”
Southerner: How do you handle criticism, and do you use it for personal growth?
Rowe: “I take it well, and take most of it for personal growth.”
Southerner: What do you think the purpose of life is?
Rowe: “To find yourself and to be as happy as possible.”
Southerner: What is something you always dreamed of doing but were too scared to do?
Rowe: “Nothing, because I do whatever I want.”
Southerner: What drives you to get up every morning?
Rowe: “To see friends, dog and my family to talk to them.”

Southerner: What do you do to try to feel calm when something goes wrong?
Rowe: “Find something in a room that is every color of the rainbow to distract me from the problem.”
Southerner: What was your dream job when you were little?
Rowe: “To be a singer, like my mom.”
Southerner: What is your guilty pleasure?
Rowe: “Going on Pinterest to look at things that I want in the future.”
Southerner: If you could fix one of the world’s biggest problems, what would it be?
Rowe: “Equality, no matter who or what they are, they deserve equality. Everyone deserves love just as much as the next.”
Southerner: If you could have dinner with anyone, who’s one person you’d go with?
Rowe: “Stevie Nicks because I love how iconic she is.”
