Jaxson Lambert

Jaxson Lambert, Reporter

Jaxson Lambert is a junior at Gibson Southern High School. This is his second year on “The Southerner” staff, working as a reporter. Along with being a member of Student Council, Jaxson also participates in Spell Bowl and both Math and English Academic Bowl teams. He is the sound crew head for the Gibson Southern Theatre Department and a member of the International Thespian Society Troupe #5623. Outside of school, Jaxson enjoys traveling all over, as well as reading and painting. After high school, he would like to go to college to become an engineer.

Students pack the Titan stands, bedecked in as much gold as possible, for the Homecoming game against Henderson County. Between the efforts of Student Council, the cheerleaders and Titan Up!, there has been an increase in school spirit.

Two different teams represented Gibson Southern at the State Livestock Skillathon at Purdue University on October 5. Teams included Grady Mowrer, Meredith Johnson, Abby Brown, MacKenzie Stuckey, Madison Hamilton, Audrey Spindler, Maci Spindler and Meredith Mann.

The Gibson Southern FFA has farmed a plot of land owned by Toyota for many years. Now, as the company expands, it has reclaimed the land, leaving the FFA program without a main source of revenue.
