Rhys Sorgius is a sophomore at Gibson Southern High School. This is Rhys’ first year on “The Southerner” staff. He grew up and lives in Haubstadt, Indiana. He takes his academics very seriously, currently maintaining a 4.0 grade point average. With his time, Rhys competes in Gibson Southern baseball and tennis and is a part of school clubs, including Students for Life and an officer for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Out of school, he enjoys hanging out with his friends and family and trying new sports.
