Rachel Thompson is a freshman at Gibson Southern High School, and this is her first year on “The Southerner” Online staff. She loves all types of music, except for rap, with her favorite genre being metal, specifically power metal. Rachel is a very artistic person, and she loves and appreciates all types of art. One of her favorite hobbies is playing guitar in her free time. Rachel is also a devout Christian who lives for and loves Jesus Christ, and follows her Savior by loving everyone, no matter who they are. Rachel believes that being a photographer for “The Southerner” Online will be a good way to broaden her horizons for photography as a career when she gets older.
