Symphony Path

Symphony Path is a junior this year at Gibson Southern High School. It is her second year writing for the “Southerner Online,” and she is now a co-Social Media Editor as well. She enjoys late nights on the couch with a good horror movie, pizza, and her dog, Buster. She is in the high school band and is hosting a musical festival in October. She enjoys baking for the newspaper staff and working on her stories for the “Southerner Online.” She has great academic value and is aiming to be a  psychiatric therapist.

Junior Brielle Armstrong, senior Halle Pohl and sophomore Tali Maurer were a hit with their cover of Taylor Swift's "Tim McGraw" in "Vaudeville Hee Haw." "Halle Pohl is the one who came up with the act 'Tim McGraw,' and she came up to me and Brielle Armstrong to ask us if we could sing with her," Maurer said. "We rehearsed for about a month and it took us that time to get the act down good. We put it together like right before auditions. Actually, the first time we performed it together was the audition."
