Selah Neice is a senior and is a member of the International Thespian Society Troupe #5623 and Sunshine Society. She was in Vaudeville 2022, “Big Fish,” Vaudeville 2023, “Mama Mia,” Vaudeville 2024, “Footloose,” and Vaudeville 2025. Neice plans to attend USI and hopes to be a nurse in the future.

Southerner: What show are you currently binge-watching?
Neice: “I love ‘Gossip Girl’ and [am] rewatching it right now.”
Southerner: If you had time to listen to one last song, what would it be and why?
Neice: “My favorite song, ‘Wiped Out,’ by The Neighbourhood.”
Southerner: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Neice: “Thirty minutes, unless I am getting ready for real, then it would be an hour.”
Southerner: What drives you to get up every morning?
Neice “The end of the school day; I’ll just be waiting.”
Southerner: What was your dream job when you were little?
Neice “I wanted to be a popstar, still do.”
Southerner: What is a childhood memory that makes you happy?
Neice: “When my great aunt would take me to everything with her.”
Southerner: Who is your favorite teacher?
Neice “My favorite teacher is Mr. Hutchinson, the choir teacher.”
Southerner: What’s your favorite type of foreign food?
Neice: “I love fettuccine Alfredo, because most of the Asian food I eat is probably whitewashed.”
Southerner: Have you ever met anyone famous? If yes, then where did you meet them?
Neice: “Yes, Lin-Manuel Miranda in a coffee book shop in 2023, which he owns, during the theater in New York trip.”
