Cooper Maurer, Sports Editor

Cooper Maurer is a senior at Gibson Southern High School. This is his third year being  part of “The Southerner.” He is a two-sport athlete who is a part of both the cross country and track teams. Outside of school, Cooper likes to hunt, swim and hang out with friends. He is also part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Cooper plans to run collegiately and also wants to be an optometrist.
