Emilie DeWeese, Copy Editor
Emilie DeWeese is a junior at Gibson Southern, and this is her second year on “The Southerner” staff. She joined the staff as a way to expand her writing abilities, as she enjoys writing a lot. Emilie is very academically focused but has many other interests outside of school and writing. She enjoys psychology, biology and child care. Emilie's future career remains undecided. However, she aims to be involved in a career that helps people. In her free time, Emilie enjoys cooking, taking outdoor walks, listening to music, playing video games and taking care of her dog. She also loves to travel and experience new things.
